What's for Dinner?
Is anyone looking for Halloween costume ideas? If so, you must see this one from our beloved Martha Stewart.
Complete instructions for creating this mouth-watering creation can be found here. Be sure to read the warnings about "when you put the baby on the table". I don't want to be responsible for any mishaps!
I'm a little wary of this here situation. I think if you dress babies up as chickens it is cute. Turkeys? On a tray? Cooked? Hm... something screams cannibalism to me.
Love the lobster baby, Jeannie. Martha actually has a lobster baby on her site, too, but it's not nearly as cute. Plus, hers is (once again) on a platter. I like the idea of the soup pot much better.
Remember Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal in which he suggested that people eat their children? This would have been the perfect illustration for that essay.

It's not unique, but little ones in pumpkin costumes are still my fave. And way more appetizing. :)
