Come Monday...

Monday, my chickens go to camp for two weeks.

Wait. Did you hear that? I said, Monday, my chickens go to camp for TWO WEEKS!!!!!!!!

Holy Mackeral!!! what am I going to do with myself?! I thought about jetting off to London to see family, or Paris? or Arkansas? Several of my friends have called and tried to line up lunches, pool dates, pedicures, and movies.

But I have gracefully bowed out and alerted the world that I intend to use all thirteen days to finish KISS & TELL - once and for all. Luckily, it just keeps getting better, and now there are quite a few peeps actually waiting on it :) Oh! And CTK is armed and ready.

The trunks are packed, the chicks are excited, we ate crawfish this weekend and all is well. Come Monday, it's just me and Edwin...

I have to ask. Did you suck the heads? I love the south, but girl there is something about the whole sucking the head of a crawfish that makes me nauseous.

Good luck with the edits and I can't wait until we all get to see your masterpiece!

Not a head sucker, either.

Katie--this is such a gift! What perfect timing to have these weeks for your masterpiece!

Are they going to the kind of camp the girls went to in The Parent Trap and Dirty Dancing? As a kid I would have DIED to go to one of those fancy east-coast camps where you pack your things in a steamer trunk! There's nothing quite like it here on the west coast. Don't forget to tell them, "No one puts Baby in a corner!"

Hilarious Christy! And yes - it's a fancy camp with steamer trunks -ha! I went as a kid and I told my husband it's my most favorite memory of my youth (as it is my brother's and my father's). So I would beg, borrow and steal to enable them to go. They love it!

Have fun with Edwin! And BTW, yeah, the crawfish would not be my first choice for a going away meal!
