Happy Valentine's Day, Y'all

Soooo . . . I took a chance yesterday and did the stairmaster (while watching Weeds--my reward for all my sweat), leaving my girls to entertain themselves. When I finished, the house was strangely quiet.

I walked into the playroom and discovered this:

Then, I hiked up the stairs. Where I found this:

Awwwww. Valentine's boxes. They are playing "secret valentine", which is kinda like "secret santa."

And then there was this:

Have the Barbies kidnapped this poor, hapless naked large-headed man? Are they forcing that tiny horse up a snow covered mountain, like the Grinch did to poor Max?? What IS the story here??

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Hmmm. The girls are in complete pageant garb, and they are staring at this naked man with such profound adoration. His goofy smile is clear evidence of utter, dumbfounded enjoyment.
I'll just leave them alone and wait for chapter two to reveal more of the story. Tomorrow. If that's not a reason to get back on the stairmaster, I don't know what is.

Happy Valentine's Day!

So I guess the mess was worth it? So cute!

OMG, that mess is fantastic! and equally horrendous!

and hahaha, love that photo of the Barbies and their naked man... my young daughters refuse to keep clothes on any doll, so I end up with a lot of naughty-looking play scenes!

Thanks for the pics. They're great.

That's freaking hilarious and totally adorable. Love it. Laura and I used to put our Barbies in all kinds of compromising positions.

And for the record, I prefer Andy Cohen on Bravo when I do my cardio. Are you surprised?

hysterical! I love seeing what your girls are up to! I will post next what I found mine doing this weekend- which was the polar opposite to your sweet Barbie playing :)

This post makes me wistful. My little girl is 14 and well...very very occasionally I find some dolls on her floor. Now she is now her own dress-up doll.

Am I sad or what? I really want to know the story behind the big naked guy and the pageant barbies.

I'll be checking back for more details.

Well, aren't I lucky to have tuned in to this continuing saga! The mystery is perplexing, and I can't wait to see what your creative team of munchkin writers has concocted. I don't watch Weeds, but what could be better than this? I'll be back after church!

Sarah Francis--Did you ever find out why the boy was naked? Perhaps he didn't have anything the wear to the prom...Perhaps he was wearing a tuxedo woven from the finest fabrics, but only people who possessed wisdom could see his fine clothes...that might mean I was the only one who saw a naked doll!

Fun post! :)
