SUGAR RUSH!!!!!

One morning this week I decided to take Meg to Bottletree for a "Cinnamon Roll." I nearly spit out my hot tea when they casually set down this plate of icing in front of her. Good Golly Miss Molly! I thought it was a birthday cake!

~Needless to say she ate less than half of it. But Daddy was more than happy to help her finish it off later.

So now I am worn out and ready to get back to work. That's the joy of my job as a writer. I love it as much as Meg loved that plate of icing. I literally count the hours until I can get back to the peace of my leather chair in the coffee shop with my non-fat, one-pump, vanilla latte and my laptop.

Have a glorious Monday, Y'all! I know I will.

Umm..YUM! And this post is so timely because I literally just got off the phone with Laura and we were talking about how much we love writing and the community of writers that we've met on-line. It's just so us.

I never thought I'd be lucky enough to have a job where I'd literally jump out of bed every morning to start work, but this is that job. Of course I still have a whole other job that makes me want to jump off my roof as opposed to jumping out of my bed, but that job also makes me actual money...oh well.

I am craving that cream cheese icing so badly right now, and I was walking out my front door to head to the Bottletree . . . then I remembered that they're closed on Monday. Bummer.

Bummer is right. Clover saw the Hot choc photo which was equally yummy and in a ginormous mug.

Lila, I'm with you sister! I LOVE this job :-)

Kelly, there WAS a cinnamon roll on that plate somewhere. LOL

And Suz, Glory be! It was a sight to behold.

SF, next time we go there I am getting the raspberry raisin swirl roll. It looks divine. (How do you spell raspberry??)

Mmmm, I think all that extra icing would have been fabulous with some big, juicy strawberries to dip :^) Enjoy your writing corner!

OMG!! They totally needed to serve that with a big bowl of strawberries. If I go there tomorrow, I'm going to stuff some berries into my purse . . . or maybe they're actually on the menu.

Ack, I was going to be good and go have the frozen yogurt for dessert, but after seeing this, I'm going for the leftover cake.
